SCRI Director Dr Venkata participated in the 21st Annual Conference of the Association of North East Oncologists held in Aizawl, contributing to academic discussions focused on strengthening oncology care across the region. The conference brought together leading clinicians of Oncology practicing across various states of North East region of India to deliberate on improving cancer outcomes, particularly in resource-limited peripheral settings.
A key scientific session highlighted practical approaches to optimizing outcomes with limited resources while expanding access to advanced oncology services in major cities of the North East. The meeting also provided an important platform for professional collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strengthening regional partnerships aimed at improving patient care.
