SCRI Celebrates Rongali Bihu in Tezpur with the Community
Celebrating the spirit of culture, community, and togetherness, Dr. Venkata Pradeep Babu Koyyala, Director of Shankara Cancer and Research Institute (SCRI), attended the Rongali Bihu celebrations in Tezpur.
Rongali Bihu is more than a festival — it reflects the warmth, traditions, and shared identity of Assam. The celebration also reflects SCRI’s continued connection with the people and cultural fabric of Tezpur, a community the institute proudly serves.
Over the years, this association has extended beyond healthcare through initiatives focused on awareness, outreach, and community engagement. Programs such as NECAP 2025, conducted at Tezpur College in February 2025, various cancer awareness activities across nearby districts, and philanthropic initiatives such as Project Annapurna and Project Soundarya reflect SCRI’s broader vision of compassionate and community-oriented care.
While medicine remains at the heart of the institution, the belief that healthcare also grows through trust, participation, and social connection continues to guide these efforts.
SCRI extends warm wishes to everyone on the joyous occasion of Rongali Bihu and celebrates the values of harmony, hope, and togetherness that the festival represents.
🌾✨ Happy Rongali Bihu ✨🌾
